I decided to take a loooooong leisurely soak with a friend two nights ago, and one of us managed to disable Pump 2 on my 2006 Arctic Avalanche. I do recall that when we left the spa, there was a message on the control panel, indicating it was “locked”. Not sure how we did that either. I looked up how to unlock the spa the next morning, but could not get Pump 2 to work. I’ve hit every button combination I can think of and have even turned the power off for five minutes, hoping the pump would reset itself, but it didn’t. Alas, I have only Pump 1 to depend upon. Does anyone know how to unravel this mystery?
Thanks!
There are a few possibilities, and all of them will require a call to your dealer.
The technician I checked with said it is most likely a fuse. Could be just a coincidence and nothing you did! But he added, “It could be they somehow got into the low level programming and turned pump 2 off. And it could even be the pump 2 switch itself is broken.”
Sorry for the bad news! But if it’s the low-level programming, your dealer can probably walk you through that over the phone.
