When should I have my electrician on site?

One of your first steps should be to have your electrician over to install the GFCI and run the wiring out to the spa area. You should get this done early, even before the delivery, so you don’t have a spa sitting in your yard that you can’t use while waiting for your electrician to come. Remember to get an extra 10-15 feet of wire! After the spa is delivered, have the electrician return for the final hook-up. Don’t have an electrician standing around, most charge by the hour.
